# assets/ — soundtrack

The soundtrack player (sidebar → **♪ SOUNDTRACK**) plays a **YouTube link** in
the background by default (the official upload of *The Rain Formerly Known as
Purple*), hidden and on loop. Paste a different link in the sidebar to change
it — it's saved to `soundtrack_url.txt` here so it persists across reloads.

Prefer a local file? Drop any `.mp3` / `.ogg` / `.m4a` / `.wav` / `.flac` into
this folder and it takes priority over the YouTube link (played on loop).

- Track: **The Rain Formerly Known as Purple** — Chris Christodoulou, *Risk of Rain* OST.
- Any `.mp3` / `.ogg` / `.m4a` / `.wav` / `.flac` works; a filename containing
`rain` or `purple` is picked first, otherwise the first audio file found.
- It plays on loop in the background. Browsers block audio autoplay until you
first interact with the page, so playback starts on your first click anywhere
  — or tap the **♪** pill in the sidebar to start/stop it.

The copyrighted audio is intentionally not committed — supply your own copy
(e.g. from the composer's Bandcamp).
