# My investing rules

The monthly bot reads this file every run and judges the portfolio against it,
naming the specific rule whenever one is breached. This is the file that makes
the report *yours* rather than generic commentary — the numbers are the same for
everybody, the constraints are not.

It is committed on purpose: the diffs over time are a record of how your
thinking changed, which is worth more than any single month's report.

Replace everything below. Be concrete — "I don't like risk" is unusable,
"no single position above 15%" is checkable.

---

## Objective & horizon
- What this money is for, and when you need it.
- Minimum holding period before you'd reconsider a position.

## Hard limits
- Max weight in a single position: __%
- Max weight in a single sector: __%
- Minimum number of positions: __
- Cash floor: __%

## What I will not own
- Sectors, business models or jurisdictions you rule out regardless of price.

## Per-position thesis
One line each: why you own it, and the specific thing that would prove you wrong.

| Ticker | Why I own it | What would prove me wrong |
|---|---|---|
| | | |

## Selling
- What actually triggers a sale (thesis break? weight breach? a number?).
- What explicitly does *not* (a bad month, a scary headline, a lens score dip).

## Tax & accounts
- Account types, any lots you won't sell before a date, harvesting rules.

## Known biases
- Patterns you've noticed in your own past decisions and want flagged.
